At Hotel Cape Charles, we are guided by the relaxed pace of life on Virginia’s Eastern Shore and the small town warmth of Cape Charles. Our guests have called the Hotel “welcoming and comfortable” and “serene and uncluttered.” As befitting a boutique hotel, our room types are varied and unique. We hope you’ll find just the right room for your next getaway.
A NOTE ON ACCESSIBILITY
Due to the historic nature of our building, we do not have passenger elevators. We have 5 ground floor rooms in our Courtyard appropriate for mobility challenged guests (102-106) and one ADA room (101).
Balcony
Balcony rooms each feature a small private glass paneled balcony – offering sunshine and the perfect perch for wine and cheese and people watching on Mason Avenue.
Gallery
The Gallery rooms offer simple, cozy luxury located on the second floor off of our gallery. Rooms 208 & 213 have a small, private outdoor seating area while the other rooms share a larger common outdoor deck overlooking the Hotel’s courtyard.
Courtyard
At the ground level, the Courtyard rooms open onto our 3,000 sq ft hardscaped courtyard, offering comfortable communal seating and eating areas. If privacy is more your style, several rooms feature a private, furnished patio nook. All ADA and pet-friendly rooms are in the Courtyard.
Loft
If you prefer spacious accommodations, opt for a Loft room with an open floor plan, exposed brick walls, original heart-pine floors, spacious bathrooms with walk-in showers, and a kitchen and a seating area with comfortable leather sofas and chairs.
